teenager Ashleigh Barty says he hopes he will be fit to play in next
month's Open despite Australia having to withdraw from the Brisbane
International because of an injury .The
17 - year-old , announced from Tennis Coach late on Tuesday that it was withdrawing from
the Brisbane event due to a left adductor muscle tear and she also mixed
Hobart International next week .Barty
was scheduled to play world No.4 Maria Sharapova at Pat Rafter Arena on
Wednesday after claiming a first victory over veteran Daniela
Hantchukova round upset on Tuesday .Barty
said she had chosen to withdraw from his hometown event despite the
temptation to take the Grand Slam winner Sharapova four times hoping to
be fit for the Melbourne Open ."It's a tough decision, but a smart we have to do ," Barty said."It's
pretty much just need to give myself , my body , 10 to 12 days to
recover and expected to be suitable for the Australia Open ."From the medical advice I received , should be fine. "Barty remain in Brisbane next week before traveling to Melbourne to prepare for the opening Grand Slam of the year.Their

through the pain barrier for the experience of playing Sharapova, but
decided removal was the only option in the end."It's not every week you get opportunities like this to play against the best players in the world ," he said ." Of course I was a bit on me and Jase , my coach , too. Really wanted to get out and take a chance ." Unfortunately, I was only going to make things worse, and that's just no way to get to play a real game of tennis . "
